Jamie's legal career began at Freshfields, focusing on technology and IT matters. He subsequently worked in-house at IBM and then Smiths Group Plc, where he was Director of Legal Operations & Innovation. In this role, he focused on the transformation of the Legal function, by restructuring, changing processes and implementing new technologies.

Jamie believes in the power of legal design to drive engagement and compliance and to measure and manage risk. He is a regular speaker within the legal technology and innovation communities. His current clients include a London fintech, a US healthcare provider and a number of City law firms.
