Somebody’s Hero was conceived in 2020 by Palm Bay Florida guitarist Steve Harvey, (Chokehold, Grumpy, Who Was I) a veteran of the Florida concert scene for the last three decades. Steve has shared the stage with Godsmack, Sevendust, Exodus, Arch Enemy and Overkill to name a few. Steve has traveled as far as Slovenia’s Metal Camp and Magic Circle where the audiences surpassed 30,000 attendees. Somebody’s Hero is in tribute to his father, Michael Edward Harvey. Joined by his longtime bandmate from Who Was I, vocalist Darin Foxx, who has opened for Fear Factory, DevilDriver, LA Guns, Hed PE and Drowning Pool to name a few.

The duo offers; “Our conception in developing Somebody’s Hero was to deliver to our concert venues what they want, need and deserve. Increased attendance, professional accountability, reliability and a satisfied audience wanting more. At this point as musicians our journey is transforming the last 30 years of what we selfishly and recklessly indulged in and forge something that counts for all involved. From the promotion and production of the show to making the gigmeaningful and rewarding to those who are in attendance. These venues trust in us as well as their paying guests and as a band we are obligated to deliver every extraordinary night we have onstage. Our band is appreciative to everyone that affords us a chance to continue to bring our artistry to the stage”.

✨🌌 New Release Alert! 🌌✨Step into the future with "Angelica" – an epic synthwave masterpiece dropping on August 2nd. With an extensive synth solo and a narrative that explores AI and consciousness, this track is not just music; it's an experience.

Like something from a Ridley Scott movie, with lush moody vocals, epic guitar sounds, and big analog synthesizers, Beautiful Machines blends cinematic synthwave, postrock and synth-pop for a visual and sound reminiscent of M83 meets Blade Runner or Depeche Mode meets Stranger Things. With echoes of retro-futurism and flashes of AI-integrated art, the group is painting a picture of an era that does not yet exist.

After receiving an Independent Music Award for their debut album, the band’s follow up release Real Love caught the attention of Nylon saying "The band has a truly magnanimous sound that is as much a nod to the past as it is a reflection of the musical ingenuity of today." Recent release 2022 Control featured the band working alongside producer Ade Fenton (Gary Numan), was spun on BBC Radio 6, subsequently remixed by The New Division and had a video premiere in Clash Magazine describing the band “Gazing into the future, the group’s synth-enabled alt-pop is like mainlining a William Gibson novel, absorbing new ideas at every turn.”

Beautiful Machines supported OMD on tour in Germany 2022, performed at Infest 2022 in the UK, and headlined Rock the Planet 2022 a Space Party in Paris. The band has previously toured from North and Central America to Europe and Asia, with some notable performances at Northern Nights Music Festival, Island Life Festival, SXSW, UMS Festival, Boom Festival, Burning Man, and recently supporting Kraftwerk’s Wolfgang Flür. Each show is an unexpectedly emotional and curated multimedia experience. Beautiful Machines is Conrad Schuman (vocals, guitar, synths) and Stefanie Ku (Synths, backing vocals), and joined for live performances by Ralf Schumacher (electronic drums).

We are two women on the spectrum who were diagnosed late in life. Learning to navigate life on the spectrum has helped us in amazing ways. One of the outcomes has been becoming authors, which we think is pretty great. Together, we've written three books: Pin Up Bootcamp, The SPARK Process, and Pave the Path to Success. Now, we are on a mission to help others by sharing our journey and insights. If we can reach even one person, it can make a significant difference. Our show, Neurodivergent Girlz, offers a glimpse into our lives, filled with laughter and shared experiences. We've also launched Connection Games on Kickstarter, where we develop fun games aimed at helping others communicate, connect, and express themselves better. "
