Somebody needed to pick up the torch for hard rock and heavy metal with real grit and gusto and without a gimmick. Enter Who on Earth. The New Jersey outfit of Coosh [vocals], Pete Rizzi [bass], Johnny James Barone (guitar), Jimmy Kocha (guitar), and Howie Fallon [drums] — delivers a one-two punch of hard-hitting hooks and airtight instrumentation bolted down by pummeling grooves and piercing riffs. It all gestated from a question…“We wanted to fill in the blank of ‘Who On Earth is going to bring back good rock and metal?’,” explains Pete. “We grew up on the new wave of British heavy metal and classic rock. We went through grunge and other great genres of metal. We wanted to resurrect the melodies, hooks, and guitar solos. We returned to our roots yet upgraded everything with modern production.”

Formed in 2024, Awaiting Abigail is a powerhouse hard rock and metal band blending raw emotion, technical prowess, and melodic storytelling. The group began as a reunion of three high school classmates—Heather Hammonds, James Smith, and Laurie Barnett—who played together in the mid-to-late 90's in local bands. Joining them is the father-daughter duo, Mike and Kori Tolfa. Kori, a former band student of James, brings her talents on keys, while Mike, a guitarist and aviation enthusiast, rounds out the band’s instrumentation.

The missing piece came in mid-2024 when James discovered Abigail Hill, a gifted vocalist and actress studying theater arts at a local university. Her talent and charisma cemented her as the perfect frontwoman. Abigail’s versatile voice and stage presence quickly made her the melodic force and namesake of the band. Outside the band, Abigail explores solo projects spanning various musical and theatrical genres.

Pop Art Painter Jamie Roxx (www.JamieRoxx.us) welcomes Sonic Volt (Alternative Rock) out of Dallas / Fort Worth to the Show!

Sonic Volt, where pure energy collides with raw sound, forged in the heart of DFW, North Texas. We’re the shockwave that happens when Nirvana’s intensity meets the raw punch of punk and the defiant spirit of Hole. Our music is a high-voltage current, delivering a potent blend of melodic grit and electrifying power, igniting every stage with an unforgettable charge.

Sonic Volt sparked to life in summer 2024 when Hope Hendrix and Anthony Delabano, veterans of the North Texas punk scene, connected with the dynamic guitarist Colt Power. Hope, formerly of the early 2000s punk outfit Draven, and Anthony, the powerhouse drummer for the revered greaser punk band Spector 45, felt an immediate, undeniable surge of chemistry with Colt. When a bass player proved elusive, Hope embraced the challenge, learning the instrument in November 2024. This ignition point led to new tracks and reinventions of Hope’s earlier songs, all capturing Sonic Volt’s aggressive, melodic sound and boundless energy

"This project came alive early 2024, after taking a long break from music, due to the pandemic and studying at the university.

But still, I had a couple of songs in “my drawer” and they were always there in the back of my head begging for attention.

So my wife encouraged me to start recording the songs “Burn” and “The Grind” at a local studio. And it came out far more better than I could ever imagine.

So the sound engineer said: “Yo, this is fakkin great, we should try and write a song together!” He comes from a different style of music, he has other influences than me. So we kind of blended our styles, and the first result of that collaboration was the song “The Road”. (That song actually took off and got some attention from local radio)

Still, at that time I didn’t have any thoughts about forming a band or making a whole album.

But here we are, almost a year later, an album is coming up, a band is formed, and I recently got signed to Curtin Call Records.

The first single from the album is “I Tried” which is getting some airtime at several radio stations in north and South America and also the UK.

Radio Wigwam recently nominated me as “best international male artist” Which is mind-blowing to say the least!

All of the songs on the upcoming album belong together and share kind of the same theme, it’s a complete story! The album is scheduled to be unleashed in June 2025

So far we’ve done 6 shows and 1 live performance on Swedish radio, and some podcasts as well

Next show is booked at September 6 2025" ~ Magnus Styren
