Tonight Pop Art Painter Jamie Roxx (www.JamieRoxx.us) welcomes the amazing Austin TX Soul & Funk Band Roxy Roca to the show!

www.roxyroca.com

"Fans of ’60s legends like James Brown and Al Green will have plenty to savor on Roxy Roca’s latest, Ain’t Nothin’ Fancy — a record full of powerhouse soul with a smooth, Southern finish. The lyrics are simple, but it’s the horn section and vocalist Taye Cannon’s impressive vocal chops that steal the show here, with hoarse shrieks, whoops, and hollers to beat the band.

Roxy Roca’s tunes are dynamic, infectious, and, above all, fun, sure to inspire even the most reluctant to step out on the dance floor." ~ Texas Music Magazine

Tonight Pop Art Painter Jamie Roxx (www.JamieRoxx.us) welcomes Jenna and Sam of the fantastic Folk/Pop/Americana band Valley Shine to the Show!

www.valleyshineband.com

Valley Shine was distilled from a love of whiskey, cats and bluegrass music. In early 2014, Jenna Blake was in search of a writing partner with an appreciation for folk music who shared her passion for songwriting. Hailing from Louisville, KY, Jenna was influenced by traditional bluegrass music and roots rock like CCR, CSNY and Joni Mitchell. By a sheer stroke of luck, Jenna discovered Sam Sobelman and the two met up to see if there was any musical chemistry. After a couple of writing sessions influenced by whisky, laughs and some banjo pluckin', they quickly discovered their songwriting styles were a perfect match.

Today Pop Art Painter Jamie Roxx (www.JamieRoxx.us) welcomes Gutarist Kenneth Jonsson of the the Swedish Metal Band Tad Morose to the Show!

www.facebook.com/tadmorose

Despotz Records will release TAD MOROSE’s new album – their eighth - St. Demonius in late August 2015.  St. Demonius consists of twelve tracks in typical TAD MOROSE fashion.  Only more straightforward, more unnecessarily complicated, faster and slower.  Cutting to the chase, St. Demonius is more melodic and heavier than anything the band has done in the past.
