the ignorant savants is an eclectic musical project blending elements of alternative rock, jazz, and folk, and some Robert Hunter lyrics with original musical interpretations. Produced in Michigan’s I-69 North corridor and on the island of Montreal, Quebec, tis is a catalog of releases spanning dozens of albums like Suite Lunar Years, Housework, and Jazz Guitar 2023 - follow to listen to the entire repertoire (this is basically what AI will tell you if you look it up). What TIS is - is a guy using multi instrumentalist tools (NO AI - thank you) to explore the edges of blues musical mannerisms. My electronic tools are simple - GB, a midi keyboard, a Shure mic, several guitars, a kalimba, a cheap harmonica, a plastic drum, a simple guitar interface, and a lack of knowledge of musical theory and a distaste for the popular. It's what I do when I go down into my basement. Play me a lot and maybe I can pay for my Artist Pro sub.  Otherwise, I'm having fun in retirement and you can have fun with me if you want a really lo-tech collab.
