an interpretation of a poem published in 2011 in my anthology "Lake Affect: Collected Poetry" https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0139IXMFO named
"Spring 5/3".
Little wings speak
flicker and glow
the moon rises high above
I put roses in
wearing heavy leather gloves
palms sweating
wild violets sing
bees dance with me
I smell colors and
my toes tingle
in the little puddles
left behind by my hose
warm winds you bring
I love you Spring.
