As you just saw in that show open, I spent 25 years in TV news. Many of those years were spent being the lead story person for Channel 4 and various other TV stations. Unfortunately, there's a saying in TV news, "If it bleeds, it leads," and so many of those stories were heartbreaking for me to tell. It took a toll, and I finally ended up leaving the television business to start this network.
