Jane Faulkner lives in the Tallebudgera Valley on the Gold Coast. She is the founder and director of Equine Assisted Therapy Australia.

For the past 27 years, Jane has had the privilege of being able to work on her own healing and learn from great teachers and healers from all over the world. These teachers and healers have provided support and guidance and have instilled in her a passion for working with people. Jane has worked as a Nurse in different communities both in Australia and overseas. For the past 14 years, she has been working as a therapist supporting people in both room-based settings and in equine-assisted therapy sessions. As a therapist, she draws upon Gestalt psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing, Equine-Assisted psychotherapy, and Art therapy.
