What happens when TIFF glamour returns to the neighbourhood where the festival began?

Join Canadian media personality Janette Burke for an advance media preview of the Rogers Red Carpet in Yorkville during the opening weekend of the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival. Janette takes you inside this immersive public experience on Yorkville Avenue, featuring red-carpet-style photo moments, interactive activities, live entertainment and an open-air celebration of film.

The Rogers Red Carpet ran September 10–13, 2026, between Bellair Street and Hazelton Avenue. Its public program included live musical performances, TIFF Short Cuts screenings and Q&As, and screenings of celebrated TIFF People’s Choice Award films. This episode gives viewers a behind-the-scenes first look at how Rogers brought the energy, culture and magic of TIFF back to Yorkville.

Former Toronto City Councillor and TTC Chair Karen Stintz joins Janette Burke for a candid Main Episode of Janette’s TV Podcast about leadership, public service, reinvention and the future of Toronto.
