Cs: Jan stál před starým skladem, dýchal hluboce, aby se uklidnil.
En: Jan stood in front of the old warehouse, breathing deeply to calm himself.
Cs: Zima zalézala do kostí, ale on věděl, proč tu je.
En: The cold seeped into his bones, but he knew why he was there.
Cs: Musel najít nějaké zásoby pro svou rodinu.
En: He had to find some supplies for his family.
Cs: Jeho čtyřčlenná rodina spoléhá na něj.
En: His family of four relied on him.
Cs: Marta, jeho manželka, stará se o děti, a Karel, nejmladší syn, potřebuje léky.
En: Marta, his wife, took care of the children, and Karel, the youngest son, needed medication.
Cs: Jan cítil, že musí být silný.
En: Jan felt he needed to be strong.
Cs: Sklad byl opuštěný, prázdný dlouhá léta.
