There's something special about experiencing a city on a Sunday when the usual chaos settles down - even the traffic lights weren't working, but somehow that just added to the relaxed atmosphere.The human connections made throughout the day really resonated with me too. From the café conversations that led to adding Portuguese to our website, to meeting Brazilian engineers working on a major conference center project in Luanda, it reminded me how travel creates these unexpected bridges between cultures and languages. Sometimes the most meaningful travel experiences happen not when you're rushing between tourist attractions, but when you're simply wandering around, grabbing a beer with locals, and staying open to whatever conversations come your way.
