There's power in the opportunity to return to the same location as a different person. That's what my husband and I got to do as we rang in the New Year together in Japan.

All the things we thought about who we were, what we wanted, why we were doing what we were doing shaped the moments and years to come but not without major adjustments to what we believed, how we related, and when we chose to say yes and no.

We each have the same amount of hours in a day, days in a month, and months in a year, but what we get to create with them is up to us!
