Eliphaz wrongly builds a theology that holds to a god who does not love or value those created in his image. Bildad adds to this theology that his god glories in his power and dreadfulness. These men doom man to reflect the glory of terror.

Job also confuses the correct view of God’s sovereignty because He attempts to define God’s character through the lens of his circumstances.
