God is calling us to root ourselves in our community. He first needs to bring a perspective shift, an awakening, to his heart for those around us in need. Second, He wants to capture our hearts with a compassion that ultimately leads us to action. This Sunday, we will look again at Jeremiah 29 as we talk about what it takes to move us to compassion as we root ourselves in the lives of our neighbors and ultimately in the life of our surrounding community.
