I went to the Mandai Shoten in Natori, Miyagi.

Still in Miyagi in late August, this time visiting the Hard Off store in Natori city. Is there a printer you can connect to your Saturn and Pico? Why else would I ask if there was not? Did I get a great deal on a retro game? I did! Let's just say it is a PARODy of popular shooting game GradIUS and that it involves a certain large ringed gas giant!

Into the great green north, this time it's a description of Mandai Shoten in Sendai city, Miyagi, visited in the waning days of July, 2025! Often visited but it's been a while; the crane games have increased but the game deals have not!

And here we again with the exotic Hard Off in Narashinodai in Funabashi, Chiba! Not in Narashino city, Chiba! Will the greatest deal in the history of retro gaming be found inside? THE ONLY WAY TO FIND OUT IS TO LISTEN!!!!!!!!!

Hey, it is the Momotaro Kingdom in Narashino, Chiba! Perhaps you like MSX games? Xbox stuff? Unfortunately there is no MSXbox stuff.

Ishikawa is not only the last name of a 90s J-Pop star mostly known in the west for animation theme songs, but it is also the name of a city in Chiba prefecture! I visited the Ono branch of Hard Off in that city again recently and you may now hear highlights of the gaming related items from that visit. Aren't you lucky?!

Another voyage to the Surugaya that graciously sold to me my first MSX machine. This time, I obtain a game at 1/3 cost because a Japanese person is not perfectly capable of entering English into an electronic sales system!

And now a talk of a visit to the always exotic Momotaro Kingdom in Kisarazu city of Chiba. Some things are cheap, and some are expensive, but (and please sit down or pull your car over for safety before experience the excitement of the remainder of the sentence) it has a glorious cassette tape-included special edition package of Athena for the Famicom!

One of the better Hard Off stores you can find! This episode is another visit to the branch in Kisarazu city of Chiba. Cheapest Guardian Heroes in decades so go get it and fill your Guardian Heroes shaped hole in your Saturn soul! Note not the same as Guardian War for 3DO!

Let's discuss a visit to the Surugaya in Ichihara city, Chiba! It's maybe the worst Surugaya but it is not awful and just any comparison must include an item that is least good!
