Japan has countless shrines, each offering unique blessings like luck in love (Enmusubi) or business success (Shobai-hanjo).
Today, I shares my recent visit to Kinomiya Shrine in Atami, home to a sacred 2,100-year-old tree (Goshinboku) rumored to grant wishes and extend your lifespan. While many Japanese people are not strictly religious, they visit shrines to express gratitude, practice mindfulness, and reset. Don't just treat shrines as tourist spots. Approach them with respect and mindfulness to truly feel their peaceful, sacred energy.
