In this powerful installment of our “Great God” series, we delve into the profound meaning of Jehovah Nissi, which translates to “The Lord is My Banner”. This name of God, first revealed in Exodus 17:15, signifies God’s role as our protector, our rallying point in times of battle, and the source of our victory. Just as Moses raised his hands in battle, symbolizing God’s presence and power, we are reminded that our strength comes from the Lord.

Let this message inspire you to lift your eyes to the Lord, our Banner, and find courage and strength in His unwavering presence.

El Shaddai means “God Almighty” (Genesis 17:1). This is the name that reminds us of God’s all-sufficient power and provision. He is more than enough for every need—strong enough to uphold us, gentle enough to nurture us, and faithful enough to keep His promises.

In this message, we’ll discover how El Shaddai reveals Himself as the Almighty One who brings strength in weakness, abundance in lack, and hope in uncertainty. Our God is limitless, and with Him, nothing is impossible.

This message in the Great God series looks at the name Jehovah Ma’on – Dwelling Place. Moses, in Psalm 90, declared that God has been our dwelling place through all generations. In a world of uncertainty, shifting sands, and temporary shelters, God Himself remains our eternal home. We will explore how Moses, who spent years in tents and wilderness wanderings, understood that true security was not in a place but in the presence of God. This teaching invites us to find our rest, stability, and hope in Him as our everlasting dwelling place.

In Great God Part 4, we discover Jehovah El Roi – The God Who Sees. He is the God who notices every tear, every struggle, and every hidden place in our lives. Just as He saw Hagar in the wilderness, He sees us in our trials, our victories, and our everyday moments. This message will encourage you to trust that you are never unseen, never forgotten, and always within His care.

In Great God Part 2  Jared tells us that the Sun is so massive that 1.3 million Earths could fit inside it. Yet, in comparison to UY Scuti, one of the largest known stars, the Sun looks small.  If creation is this great, how much greater is our Creator? He is not only bigger than the universe, but also close enough to know your name, count every hair on your head, and hold your heart in His hands. When we see the scale of the heavens, we are reminded: our God is immeasurably great, infinitely powerful, and intimately loving.
