I met Jared freshmen year at Gettysburg College. Both fans of debauchery and pushing the limit we hit it off and became fraternity brothers. College was an absolute blast as far as I can remember with many fun parties, trips, events and memories. Junior year, Jared had to do a project for one of his classes and it involved a local adhesive business. He stuck with it and upon graduation of college had already established himself in this family business as their newest employee after completing his internship. He was one of the only ones that had a solid job while the rest of us were busy "finding ourselves" and testing the waters in many different job opportunities. 20 years later, Jared has reached the heights of his career and likes to focus on small goals and taking his time. Its been the "secret sauce" of his success and building relationships in and out of the business world. He married his college sweetheart Ali who has wholeheartedly supported him the whole way and has two amazing daughters.
In this episode we talk about patience, focus, deliberate questions to help better understand what's going on and more. I admire Jared for his dedication to his craft and sticking with something as probably one of my only friends with the longest running tenured career. You can reach him by email at [email protected] or visit the company page at www.lancoadhesives.com. Listen in and enjoy the show!
