Lake of the Ozarks bass fishing is on fire June 6, 2023 water temperature is 80°. Water flow is nonexistent, the bite is pretty good. Its easy to catch keepers but big ones are hard to come by. They may be in 1 feet or 40. Pick your favorite bait for the conditions and get with it. SHAD, Bluegill, and other forage are very suspended. Overhead cover like docks are very good during the shade periods. Tree Shad and bluff bank/steep bank shad is key right now! Wolf packs are out and hitting top waters but size is hard to find. BIG girls seem to be individual fish that are set up on bluegill. Yes you can catch a big one on a spook or swimbait, but the majority of the bigger fish seem to be around bluegill beds and place bluegill hang out. Docks, trees, lights with bugs, etc. I havent seen the occasional crappie eating monster bass, but thats because the bluegill spawn going on. the moon is just pass FUll MOON, the water is 80 and rising, the level is rising to full 659+ and its clear everywhere. ( if you have listened and read this much Im going to throw in a NUGGET - gold one. ) The entire lake is clear for LOZ. If you find dirty water, you have found gold. I'll leave it at that. - good fishing folks! email: [email protected] Instagram: jarodsheltonfishing facebook: jarodsheltonfishing
