Mr. Charles W. Johnson was born and raised in a military home with strong moral beliefs.  Being the son of a retired Sergeant Major and an assistant school teacher turned Pastor in a small town in Lumberton, NC high expectations were placed on him.

Soon after leaving college Charles followed the footsteps of his mother and started pastoring a small church.  That small church in Raleigh, NC began to grow but Charles was silently suffering. He did not understand how God could be blessing the members of his church and even his close friends but he struggled to find the success he was looking for.

Until one day Charles had what he calls an “argument with God” where he challenges God to tell him what the problem was and how he was going to fix it.  Charles says that late one night after yelling and screaming at God, Charles got the revelation of a lifetime. God said to him “Charles this is all your fault, as you think in your heart so are you!”

After that night Charles started on a journey to success that has been phenomenal from traveling across the world to speak in Canada, Bahamas and Dubai to speaking at universities, colleges, corporate events, national speaking events and business networking events around the US.

Now, Charles wants to help you experience your own success story!  He is the Successologist!

Manasa Magona, was born in west Africa; Sierra Leone , Freetown. I moved to the United States when I was 12yrs due to civil war in our country. I currently work in the mental health field and now working on my masters in Clinical mental health counseling. This week on the 79th Episode on the Walk By Faith Podcast we highlight Yanna Spellman a Full Spectrum Doula serving the Tri-State area (NY, NJ, CT).⠀

She started the BCBW Network because she realized there weren’t any organizations that connected birthworkers of faith, as well as birth workers of color. In the beginning stages of her Doula practice, she encountered quite a few families who hadn’t hired a doula until late in their pregnancy because they couldn’t find one that supported their views and could relate to them. After having this experience multiple times, Yanna decided to create a space where all birth workers who are Black and Christian can be found in one place. I also wanted this to be a space where Black Christian Birthworkers can come together and network, connect, share resources, learn, and grow from each other. We understand this work is not easy, but we have strength through our Savior, Jesus Christ, and He has brought us all here to do this work for His glory together!⠀

Her faith and confidence in God are what fuels her to keep going and inspire others along the way. She is multifaceted and has many other interests, one being fashion, the arts, and obtaining financial freedom through multiple streams of income.
