In this episode we speak to Welsh speedster and Bristol Bears player Jasmine Joyce. Recently named in the GB 7s initial training squad for this summer’s Olympics, the winger talks to us about the disappointment of the 15s World Cup being cancelled, why it’s so important for Wales players to be playing in the Premier 15s, balancing 7s and 15 and how Bristol Bears have helped the Welsh cause.
We also touch on the atmosphere in the Wales camp after the introduction of new Head Coach Warren Abrahams and why playing for the Barbarians was the best rugby experience of her life. Plus quite a large chunk of our chat is dedicated to Welsh cakes.
