Australian country star Jasmine Rae first grabbed the industry's attention in 2008 when she won the Road to Tamworth contest on her first attempt.

Over the next decade Rae released several albums, resulting in number one singles, industry awards, and tours across Australia and America.

Then, in 2018, Rae was the target of severe abuse on social media when her co-writers sued Ed Sheeran for plagiarism, and it left her questioning whether she wanted to keep releasing music.

But she never stopped writing new tracks and now Rae's back, with a new album, Lion Side.
