Jason Goodall on Nadal & Osaka's Returns as 2024 Kicks Off + Coaching Legend Jose Higueras on Working with Federer, Courier and Creating A Culture at The USTA
The 2024 season is officially underway, and TC broadcaster Jason Goodall returns to discuss the top storylines as the players return to action. Goodall reacts to the top form Rafael Nadal is in after a year away from the game, and what to expect from the Spaniard going forward. Goodall also dives into Novak Djokovic's upset loss & potential wrist injury, Naomi Osaka's level as she makes her comeback, and the state of the women's game going into the year's first major. Higueras details how he got started in coaching, what it was like to work with players like Michael Chang & Jim Courier as they won majors, and why he's the most proud of his run as the head of The USTA's Elite Player Development Program. The coach discusses what he learned working with Roger Federer, his thoughts on coaching being legal during matches, and what his philosophy is for teaching the game to his students.
