It's the last day of the week and it is a very emotional beginning of the show for the fellas as a member of the Sacramento community and family, Gary Gerould's daughter passed away this morning. Hear Grant and Doug talk about Gary's loss and how much their family means to the city of Sacramento. Plus the guys talk about some of the great things people are doing to fight this pandemic.

In the last hour two former major league pitchers from the bay area Shawn Estes formerly of the Giants and Dallas Braden of the Oakland A's. Listen as Shawn and Dallas talk about pitching in the big leagues, how they are coping with no opening day and relive some memories playing in the big leagues, including Dallas Bradens perfect game.

Hall of Fame broadcaster Marty Brennaman joined the show in the second hour and spoke about his 46 years as a Reds announcer, how he was welcomed into Cincinnati, especially by the players of the "Big Red Machine" and how proud he is of his son.

Grant and DC begin the first hour of the Thursday edition of the show, with speaking to Jack Michaels, the Edmonton Oilers radio PxP broadcaster. Listen to Jack talk about how be came the Oilers announcer, specifically for a Canadian team hailing from the United States.

Grant and Doug talk travel and how it will be extremely cheap to travel in the near future but want to caution everyone to be careful as possible when they do so.

Longtime broadcaster Ian Eagle is welcomed on the show in the third hour  and spoke about how he got into the broadcasting business, why he wanted to get into the business and when he realized he wanted to be an announcer.

Grant kicks off the beginning of the hour with Dak Prescott news and how he and the Cowboys are in a stand off over how many years on the contract they can agree upon. Plus Sacramento's own, renowned artist David Garibaldi joined the show. Basketball Hall of Famer Jamaal Wilkes joined Grant and DC in the first hour of the show on the Wednesday edition of The Grant Napear Show. Hear Jamaal speak about why he chose to attend UCLA over a few other California schools, how he absolutely adored John Wooden and relived his thoughts for his first year on the Golden State Warriors. Plus the fellas talk about the latest moves in the NFL.

Very close friend of Doug Christie and the one and only Jamal Crawford joined the fellas in the last hour of the show and spoke about the first time he ever realized that he was good enough to play professional basketball, explains getting into the zone while scoring 50 points and why he still feels he can play in the NBA.

In the third hour of the show, the boys talk about the NBA season and if they believe it may return this season, including thoughts on maybe maneuvering the schedule around in the future. Also Grant and DC catch up with former Kansas guard and Sacramento King Ryan Robertson.
