The Judgment has passed. Noah and the animals come off the ark and creation begins anew. Noah worships God for his salvation and God gives a gracious promise to mankind. The line of the seed is still alive. God's promise in the garden has not been undone.

Noah enters the ark and God brings forth the flood on the earth to blot out all of creation. Only Noah, the characteristic "seed" promised by God," is saved by grace through faith.

God warns Noah of the coming judgment. The whole earth is corrupted and the line of the woman's seed is corrupted as well. God prepares a single man who finds grace in His eyes...Noah.

The godly line of Seth begins to be corrupted by intermarrying with the line of Cain. The result is an exponentially growing wickedness throughout all mankind culminating in the flood.

Sin grows the unprecedented level in the line of Cain, while the line of Seth begins calling and trusting in the name of the Lord

Cain demonstrates that sin is spreading as mankind spreads. Cain's heart is much harder than Adams. He murders his brother, is unrepentant, and repeatedly rejects the grace of God.

Adam and Eve are given the punishment for their sin. The creation is corrupted and their rolls with regard to creation and to each other are effected. But in the midst of the fall, we see grace, hope, and the first gospel promise.

Genesis 3 nararates the first sin in the garden. Man is tempted and disobeys the command of God. The result is the corruption of the roles of the man and woman, and the attempt to justify sin by blaming others.

God pronounces the man and woman as one flesh. Jesus references this in Matt. 19 as the first marriage and the universal template for marriage throughout creation

Genesis 2 focuses in on the creation of man and God placing him in the garden in Eden. The garden shows us elements that we will see in the tabernacle, the temple, and the new jerusalem. God created and provides for man in abundance and give a single covenant stipulation...don't eat from this particular tree.
