In a world filled with abusive relationship and abusive employers, Peter has something to say to Christians about how to deal with abuse. He doesn't tell Christians to lie down and take, it but he does raise their thinking from their present circumstances to the higher calling of glorifying God. Yet, implicit in every statement Peter makes is the enabling freedom of being a child of the king.

This sermon was preached at the Bonners Ferry Adventist Church as an interview sermon while the church was considering hiring Jason as their new pastor. The focus of the message is 1 Peter chapter 1 and the first part of chapter 2 where Peter describes the church as living stones and priests. Jason explores his philosophy of ministry and how he would like to organize a church.

God says that He "won't hold him guiltless" who takes His name in vain. Is God going to severely punish people who use OMG too much? Is swearing even the point of the third command? In this third part of the series, God Wrote Love, Jason explores what it means to live in the spirit as he traces the story of grace through the book of Galatians and responds to the positive side of the third commandment.

Instead of exploring all the do nots surrounding the 2nd commandment not to make or worship images, this sermon reflects on some of the possibilities this commandment allows. What kind of God is worthy of worship, and why does the Bible say that God made us in his "image?"

The Ten Commandments are considered to be a difinitive list of moral imperatives—thou shalt nots that define the boundary between right and wrong. But what if there is more to them? Jesus gave us a command to Love God and Love Your Neighbor, and many say these comands replace the ten commandments. But what if they are the very same commands, but abreviated? Jason begins to unpack the ten commandments of love in the beginningo of this sermon series on the the ten commandments.

Christ "became flesh" is a fundamental teaching of the Bible—something that only heretics deny—but what does it really mean to become flesh and how does Christ's embodiment of humanity really impact my daily life?

Before the flood and before Jesus' second Coming there was and will be a final decision each person will need to make—do I get on the ark, do I follow Christ or the beast? This decision is HUGE, but today we're faced with decisions that are no less significant as the Holy Spirit knocks on our hearts door.

God indicates that there will be a remnant—an organized group of His followers—at the end of time that will fit into some specific identifying marks, and that will have a mission in the world. This study will uncover what these identifying marks are, and what church fits the Bible's description.
