About the L.A.P Run Half-Marathon:
The Laban Ayiro Peter (L.A.P) Run Half-Marathon is a historic initiative by Daystar University, named in honour of the University Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Laban Ayiro. The event goes beyond athletics to champion student welfare, inclusion, and servant leadership.

- Date: Saturday, 7th March 2026
- Location: Nairobi (Daystar University vicinity – official route to be announced)
- Race Categories:
- 5KM
- 10KM
- 21KM (Half-Marathon)
- Open to both runners and walkers
Ticketing & Registration:
- KSh 1,500 – Current Daystar University students
- KSh 2,000 – Non-students / General public
- Each ticket includes an official L.A.P Run T-Shirt

Purpose of the Marathon:
Funds raised through the L.A.P Run Half-Marathon will support:
- Students with Disabilities Fund (assistive devices, accessibility support)
- International Students Social Welfare Fund (emergency assistance)
