I go over the various topics of lambda school, the various changes, good, and bad since I started the program, some potential fixes. This is my opinion, and not empirical fact. This is my experience.

In this episode, we are going to talk about JavaScript front-end frameworks (AND LIBRARIES!). We will be continuing to talk about the vision for the podcast, what's coming, what to learn, and gain more encouragement to be the best software engineer you can be! We will be talking about React, Angular, and Vue, and kind of what they do, why they came to exist, and MUCH MORE!
First, I apologize for the audio quality. The mic used is being replaced due to clear issues.
Welcome to the show! The topic for this week is going to be the introductory skills for front-end web development! We are going to go over most of the basics here, and we are going to continue skills2know for a while as we get up and running. This is the first part of this series, and we will encompass both the front and the back.
In this episode, we are going to focus strictly on the basics, and then in part two, we will dive into more advanced topics, and hopefully close out our front-end portion. Then we will talk about the backend, which will be a longer series considering that the backend certainly has a lot more saturation with different languages and different frameworks than the front.
Now, this is not meant to be the end-all conclusive list of things to learn, and we will be scratching the very very surface and going over things that are critical that you will need to know. There are other puzzle pieces that will fit in between things we talk about, and things that we do not. The purpose here is to start to give you a pathway to ensuring that you are getting up to speed the right way, and shows you things that you will likely need to know. Obviously, there are basics that are not mentioned, but if you learn the things that are mentioned here you will learn the basics as well.
In this episode we will be introducing the podcast, talking about the outlook and vision, and diving into the harsh topic of learning software engineering, what businesses look for, and how to get from zero to hero!
