But here’s the thing—many of our acceptable cultural norms are slowly fading. While it’s okay to let go of outdated practices like harmful rituals or restrictive rites, we must not lose our languages, foods, native attires, myths, crafts, and more.

And I won’t be doing this alone. I’ll be featuring voices from across the continent—people ready to share their cultural stories, beliefs, and practices. Because preserving culture takes a village.

Transaction is a form of trade or deal. It involves two ormore parties that hope to get their intended benefits. The parable of talents {Matthew 25:14- 30]; this parable by Jesus explained how a master gave talents unto three of his servants according to each of them ability.

    Your God given talents are within your ability therefore it is within your power, wisdom and strength to utilize them resourcefully to acquire the promises of life.

The gift of a man makes way for him if only he isresourceful with it. Gift may depreciate, decay, or become worthless if not properly nurtured. Do you value your God given talents and how do you make useof these talents?

I also made mention of transfer of knowledge with theseinstances:

1. Someone who loves reading could advance to becomea writer

2. A person who is good with lines and curves could become an artist by applying them on surfaces or a barber by applying them on people’s head

3. Someone who pays attention to every detail in a song could advance to become an instrumentalist, a producer or a musician.

Your earthly gods are the people that brought about your existence. Your parents are your little gods and ought to be honored.

Many individuals deny the reason for their existence by denying their parents. I have seen and heard of people do celebrations like wedding and thanksgiving amongst other with some other representative as their parent. Some go as far as paying others to stand in proxy as a parent, not because their parents are sick or no more, but I guess they feel ashamed or disappointed about their origin. This act should come to an end. If you feel your parents don't look good enough, put in effort to improve their appearance rather than replace them or if it's because they are not literates, find an interpreter when it's time for them to give their speech or do so yourself.

Asides bringing you to life, parents make so many sacrifices for you to attain whatever point you are right now. You may feel it isn't enough based on the level you wish to attain, if only you realize they altered their dreams just to give your life purpose.

Appreciate their efforts, make them feel loved and blessed for having you. Don't wait until you acquire all the money in the world before you do the little you can as it opens door for more blessings upon you. Render them assistance now that you can because when you own your family, your attention would be diverted mostly to your wife/ husband and children. However, this is the stage that they need you most. Don't let them suffer with grey hair because it's the time every person wish to enjoy the fruit of their labor.

Success is the positive result of efforts put into achieving a set goal. As humans we pray for a life filled with ease, yet we remain lazy, neglecting the fact that ease does not mean zero effort.

This episode on Jay Crown's Impact (ladder to success) encourages us to strive for a better position in life. Your path in life might be difficult but that shouldn't discourage you from proceeding to the greatness that lies ahead.

Each step counts while climbing a ladder, hence skipping a step might be dangerous depending on the height. Also, it is not possible to just look at the top and find yourself there except in your imagination. Put in the efforts needed to attain that height you so much desire and realize yourself approach that level gradually.
