This week we escape D.E.B.T. with Jay

Jay is currently a freelance photographer, but has lived a life of many adventures

Jay is originally from Venezuela and wanted to complete his mother’s dream of him becoming a doctor so he studied physics in the United States

As Venezuela’s economic and political situation worsened, Jay’s father could no longer pay for Jay’s education. He was told he needed to find a way to keep his US Visa to stay in the US

Jay saw med school as too much debt (almost $1.6 million) and proceeded to work in finance

As Jay’s work life turned from excitement to working so hard he almost wanted to kill himself, he thought back to when he was a young boy at Disney World with a disposable camera in his hand. Now he is able to cultivate that passion into an income and is now killing it in the photography world working for brands like Red Bull, Nike, and Tesla.
