Jay Hill

Very happy to present my Dn'B set from Philadelphia's annual WKDU 91.7FM Electronic Music Marathon.

Had the pleasure of not only spinning for this epic event that takes place over 4 days/24hrs a day - but also getting to open again for Philly's hometown hero and great mentor of mine: @https://soundcloud.com/kingbritt

Donate to Philly AIDS Thrift and check out the full marathon line up here: www.wkdu.xyz

WKDU will shortly be uploading all the sets from the marathon on their Soundcloud and Mixcloud. Be sure to follow and check out some of the amazing talent here in Philly: @wkdu

Hailing from Philly, Jay HIll is a commanding force in the growing Philadelphia techno scene. Her productions and live sets boast sort of understated glamour and finesse that are both contemplative and cerebral. All of these features follow suit on her latest endeavour titled "The King". As the second release on FM Elle, she keeps the fire burning with a sultry two-tracker that delves into some of her more atmospheric musical ideas and soundscapes. The A side, "The King", features abstract sampling techniques and blissful synth arpeggios while the B side, "Lion & Lamb" has more jagged textures and a darker feel to exquisitely juxtapose the former.
