🎙 Jay & Laney J LIVE – Episode 50
Podcast Show Notes – Wednesday, April 8, 2026
Another fun and interactive Wednesday on Jay & Laney J LIVE!
We kicked things off checking in with listeners on midweek vibes—seeing who’s powering through and who’s feeling the week’s stress. A big topic today was sibling relationships, with half of Americans saying they’re close to at least one sibling, which led to some great listener stories about family bonds.
We also talked about giving and generosity, even as charity donations have declined, sparking conversations about whether listeners prefer to give money, time, or other help. Tax season frustrations came up too, with plenty of opinions on whether the wealthy are paying their fair share.
A study on childhood junk food habits created some fun nostalgia, as listeners shared their favorite snacks growing up. Plus, we discussed how more people are trying to cut back on screen time to improve sleep and focus, challenging listeners to imagine a day without their phones.
Of course, we celebrated National Zoo Lovers Day and National Empanada Day, giving everyone a fun midweek excuse to enjoy something special. This or That questions kept the energy high, listeners called in with their opinions, and the conversation flowed throughout the morning.
Thanks to everyone who called, texted, and joined us on the LIVE stream!
