In summer preview episode number 4, Jay Shakur discusses the power of pure intention. Intention grounds you in your purpose and refocuses you in your personal reason. In fact, intention is the doorway to purpose. So, when others don't understand you, like you or when they question you. You won't react from a place of rejection, but you will respond from a place that is reassured because you have defined your intent which will always ultimately lead you to purpose (your purpose for being, existing, doing, etc.). 

In this edition I have the privilege of sharing my conversation with Duane Williams Jr, respectfully known as "Coach D", he is a native of Baltimore, MD. He's a minister, motivational speaker, youth mentor, youth activist, and youth athletic coach. Duane's professional experience includes the Baltimore City Police Department, Woodland Job Corp Center and Volunteers of America. His professional experience reflects his personal dedication and commitment to community empowerment and youth development.

In this third installment of the summer preview series, Jay Shakur discusses faith and film, the complexities of maintaining your personal faith and convictions while gaining a broad and relatable influence. It can be hard to pursue purpose and do so relentlessly. Gio and Jay discuss the journey to gaining momentum in passion while remaining grounded in faith.

In this brief edition, JayJuan Shakur Jones AKA Jay Shakur introduces himself and shortly outlines the format and purpose of this show. Jay says; "I share the belief of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie that; 'The single story creates stereotypes, and the problem with stereotypes is not that they are untrue, but that they are incomplete'.
