Jay is an ensemble member of The Gift Theatre Company in Chicago Illinois and a star of stage, screen, audiobooks and radio plays.

He also teaches acting classes for adults and high school children.

But he was once told by a prominent director in Chicago in front of a room full of people 

“You can’t act - you’re blind!”
