Cornbread Harris is perhaps Minnesota’s most iconic musician. He’s still going strong at 92 years old, playing shows around town. Cornbread's quintet, including 6-9 PM every Friday when Cornbread’s quintet provides dinner music at the Loring in Minneapolis. Cornbread's given name is James Samuel Harris. But where the name Cornbread came in came out in a conversation with Phil Nusbaum.
