  • Episode 19: The Grind Alone, Isn't Enough. You Need God.
Episode 19's special guest, is Chan Occena Davis, independent, self-taught, conceptual artist.I firmly believe that you can "come back", from anything. You have to see your tough times, through the lense of faith! Do your part, and watch God bless you. Ms. Davis, bka, @TAKAChanique has a "Comeback Story", that displays the faith I'm referring to. From fears of returning to homelessness, fighting for custody of her son after a divorce, and being blessed through her journey as a self-taught artist, she narrates her "Faith Walk" in a way that pulls at your heart strings, and requires you to "gather" yourself, when you doubt what God can do.

  • Episode 18: THE LEGEND "Jordan J. Corbett"
My special guest tonight is a living LEGEND!!! Some of you know him as "Coach". Some of you know him as "J.J." Corbett. I endearingly refer to him as "Mr. Corbett. "At 99 years of age, Mr. Corbett is still "sharp"!!!! He just received a proclamation at the Polk County School Board's last meeting. The media center at Union Academy IB Middle School will be named in his honor!!!! Imagine being a math teacher/track coach, at a once segregated school, to now have a building named in your honor. Union Academy was a rich place of learning for African American scholars during the days of segregation, so this honor is very befitting!!! Mr. Corbett served our country in WWII, as a member of the 555th Battalion, "The Triple Nickles." They were the first African American paratroopers. He is also accomplished as an award winning track and football coach, leading his teams to back to back state championship titles. Listen, as he takes us on a journey that spans his almost, 100 years of life!!!

  • Episode 17: I Found My Good Thing 🌹
10 years of dating, led to 22 years of marriage!!! I want to take this time to say, "Thank You" to William Dixon Jr. & Andromena Jordan Dixon for being my special guests for Episode 17 of The Jazzie Conversations With Jazz Podcast. It did my heart some good to hear your beautiful love story💜💙🤎Every marriage is unique to the two devoted individuals involved, and I think it's so dope that your story resonates with my audience. There were several things affirmed for me. Some of them being:▪︎When a man wants you, he will "properly" pursue you. That pursuit isn't scripted. It's indicative on whatever works to get the person he wants.▪︎It is critical to be "friends" before a relationship blossoms.▪︎Being able to adapt and being willing to compromise is key.▪︎For some women- ME being one of them- when a woman feels that she's being thoroughly attended to and taken care of, SHE desires to give her FULL-SELF to her mate. Some of us are tired of having to be strong, and we definitely appreciate a man who CAN & MOST IMPORTANTLY "DOES", handle things💜🤎💙
