Recognizing that the Music Industry in Malaysia has grown over the years with more and more talented kids choosing a career in must, jazz pianist, Michael Veerapen and  John Dip Silas, similarly shaped souls see, a need for musicians to pool their talents and inspire each other to greater abilities in their instruments. Thus the birth of a Jazz Piano Festival.
