The guys open the show discussing The Citadel's first win over a Power 5 program in basketball in over 30 years (Pittsburgh), hit on a few hoops games of interest from last night's opening night including the Gamecocks men's and women's team wins, then into some College Football Playoff ranking discussion.

South Carolina head men's basketball coach Frank Martin joins the program to chat about his health, last night's win, the season outlook and his transformed roster.

The episode wraps with a long-form discussion with JC Shurburtt, owner of The Big Spur, on Carolina's win over Florida, what it means for the future of Marcus Satterfield, the future of the program and what's next.

The guys open the show discussing the MLB award finalists and the Braves getting snubbed from Manager of the Year contention and NL MVP contention. Then onto the opening of college basketball nationwide for men's and women's hoops, including #1 South Carolina at #5 NC State. 

Keith Allsep, host of the Locked on the Gamecocks podcast joins to add insight into South Carolina hoops, his thoughts on the win over Florida and looking ahead towards Missouri.
