Gabe Carey is an accomplished digital media professional with over a decade of experience. His career began as an independent tech journalist, where he started a tech blog as a teenager. This initiative aimed to provide a collaborative platform for aspiring tech and pop culture writers. Carey's journey continued as he gained foundational expertise in SEO and content strategy, first as a staff writer and then as an editor. His work as a freelance reporter for prominent sites like Digital Trends and TechRadar honed his writing skills. This progression led him to New York, where he joined PCMag and later moved to a senior position at Future plc. Carey further developed his leadership skills at Dotdash Meredith as a Commerce Editor, mastering digital tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and various content management systems. At G/O Media, publishers of Gizmodo, Lifehacker, and Jalopnik, Carey expanded his expertise in managing content teams, establishing affiliate partnerships, and selling sponsored content and banner ads.
