If you have been expecting people to reward you for your good deeds then you are mistaken to think of it. You will be highly disappointed and frustrated, and your disappointment will lead you to nowhere other than destruction. 

Rather, you look up to God, and He will bless you with what you need. He is the ultimate source and our resource as well. He is our King and Jehovah Jirah!!
