Today I ask my oldest about growing up in our household.  His story is a little different from the others.  I adopted Jordan when he was 2.  Our situation is not different from a lot of people out there.  Always remember, you are not alone.

Today my youngest shares with me about things I got right as a parent and what I got wrong.

The bigotry continues in the house of representatives again.  We also see the newest variant of Covid appear for the third confirmed case in the U.S.  Meanwhile the government is trying to get a deal passed to avoid a shutdown again.  Finally, we look at the latest publicity stunt by hackers.

Violence seems to be everywhere we turn now days.  From our schools to our churches, and even our homes.  Today I look at the childish behavior of some of our elected officials.  Remember that our kids are watching and learning from the so-called adults about how we treat people and how we confront differences.  Clearly, we have major problems in the U.S.

It is all the craze in the scientific community at the moment.  No, the world is not becoming like Terminator. The reality is even though bots is in the name, it is far from a robot.

What a crazy year for coaches in college football.  Several surprise terminations and one huge surprise with a coach leaving for another job.  There has almost been as many coaching changes as Covid strands.

Today was a significant day as my dad was finally able to retire from the working world.  It has been an honor to have had the opportunity to work beside him for the last couple of years.  Work is definitely going to be different from here on out.
