Mask vs Mask between the original and real El Grande Americanos stole these two weeks worth of shows. Even with Clash in Italy set to be a very stacked card.For Clash Roman Reigns took on Jacob Fatu in a Tribal Combat match for the World title. Cody Rhodes defended the WWE title against Gunther. Brock Lesnar vs Oba Femi Part 2. Rhea and Jade put on a great performance for the Women’s WWE title. Not to forget SNME’s solid card with the IC title match between Penta and Ethan Page and the World Tag title titles being defended. 

Unforgiven 2008 was the beginning of PPVs starting to take on their own identity. This one being 3 separate championship scramble matches. One for the WWE, World Heavyweight, and ECW championships. Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels take their rivalry of the year to the next level with an unsanctioned match. Vickie Guerrero and The Undertaker go face to face in the ring. Cryme Tyme takes on Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase for the World tag titles. Divas title on the line between Michelle McCool and Maryse. 

Summerslam 2008 is one of my favorite PPVs I have watched in this series. You know it’s going to be an interesting show when the Raw and Smackdown main events do not involve the world champions. Edge and Undertaker fought in a Hell in a Cell match. Batista took on John Cena. CM Punk defended his world title against JBL. Triple H faced the great Khalil for the WWE title. Shawn Michaels was scheduled to make an announcement on his career. Chris Jericho foiled those plans. Much more on the Summerslam card. Also cover several releases and signings that happened during this time in 2008. 

Weekly review of all things WWE. Another week of Roman Reigns getting out through the announce table by Jacob Fatu. Sol Ruca vs Iyo and Gunther vs Royce Keys were our top matches of the week. SNME card is starting to be filled out. World Tag and IC titles will be on the line. Rhea, Charlotte, and Alexa will take on Jade, B-Fab, and Michin. Gunther and Cody Rhodes for the WWE title is official for Clash in Italy.

Weekly review of all things WWE. 5 match Backlash is in the books. Several good matches. Emotional ending to Iyo and Asuka. Is Asuka's time in WWE done? Roman Reigns defended the World title against Jacob Fatu. Roman may have won the match but he was not the one left standing after. Bron Breakker and Seth Rollins finally have their grudge match with Bron going over. Trick Williams successfully defends the U.S title against Sami Zayn. Danhausen and Minihausen defeat Kit Wilson and The Miz. John Cena announces the John Cena Classic. A new event coming later this year.

Weekly review of all things WWE. Wrestlemania 42 has concluded. Roman Reigns and CM Punk had one of the best Wrestlemania matches of all time. Some may even say it saved WM. IC title ladder match was another major highlight for the night. Randy Orton RKO Pat McAfee. Shortly after Cody Rhodes defeated Randy Orton ending one of the most controversial storylines in recent memory. Oba Femi defeated Brock Lesnar. After the match Brock left his gloves and boots in the ring. Is this the end for Brock? Around 30 wrestlers have been either released or mutually parted ways since WM concluded. Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, Kairi Sane, Alister Black, and Wyatt Sicks to name a few. 

Great American Bash 2008 is the last PPV before the PG era officially begins. John Cena and JBL will fight in a parking lot brawl. WWE champion Triple H will face Edge fresh off Edge’s wedding disaster. CM Punk faces Batista for the World Heavyweight title. Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho have another grudge match. The first ever Divas champion will be crowned between Michelle McCool and Natalya. Also on the show WWE tag, U.S, and ECW title matches. 

Weekly review of all things WWE. Go home week to Wrestlemania 42 and plenty of predictions to be made. 13 matches announced. Many of them are starting to pick up steam. CM punk gave us a pipe bomb like promo on Raw. Going after the likes of Roman, The Rock, and everyone's favorite Pat McAfee. Will Pat McAfee have a big role in the WWE title match between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton? Stephanie Vaquer in a backstage segment sent Liv Morgan and Roxanne into concussion protocol. Nikki Bella is said to have a sprained ankle putting the Bella Twins in danger of being pulled from the Womens tag title fatal four way match.

Pat punted Cody in the groin aligning himself with Randy Orton. 4 more Wrestlemania matches have been confirmed. Finn Balor vs Dirty Dom, Seth Rollins vs Gunther, Women's Tag title in a fatal four way, Men's IC title in a multi man ladder match. Cm Punk and Roman Reigns close Raw with another brawl. Logan Paul and Austin Theory are the new World Tag Team champions. Roxanne returned to help aid Liv Morgan in her fight with Stephanie Vaquer. Triple H stepped in to prevent Oba and Brock from fighting.

Night of Champions 2008 where every title will be defended. Triple H faces John Cena for the WWE title. Edge defends the World title against Batista. Chris Jericho defends the IC title against a surprise opponent in Kofi Kingston. Those three matches were the highlight of the card. Another big moment was Cody Rhodes turning on Hardcore Holly to be Ted DiBiase's surprise tag team partner for the World Tag title match. Also on the show the ECW title was on the with Kane vs Mark Henry vs Big Show. US title Matt Hardy vs Chavo Guerrero. Womens title Mickie James vs Katie Lea Burchill. WWE Tag titles The Miz & John Morrison vs Finley & Hornswoggle.
