In this episode we’ll take a look at a round of showers and storms that are beginning to affect the Friday morning commute. We’ll then look at the refreshing air mass for the weekend. We’ll also be tracking tropical activity in north basins, including one that will affect California!

Our area is about to get soaked with a warm front coming through tonight and a very moist air mass coming in. Severe weather and flooding could occur starting in just a few hours. More showers and storms are possible later tomorrow too.

In this episode we’ll first take an extensive look at a rainfall event Monday night, which could be heavy. We’ll then look at the rest of this frontal system and see when the next front comes down the pike.

In this episode we’ll look at the weather today and over the weekend. Another weather system is headed our way. We’ll also take a look at the devastation that is occurring in the Maui wildfires.

We have a strong storm coming towards the region Monday into Tuesday, with two bouts of rain and thunderstorms possible. We’ll then take a look at the rest of the week, and this busy pattern will continue.

In this episode we’ll take a look at the forecast for the next few days. We do have one severe weather threat. We’ll also review some of the elements that go into a winter seasonal forecast.

Right now dew points are low and temperatures are comfortable. That is going to change midweek, and another rain event is also in the forecast. We’ll time that all out. We’ll also look at the tropics, as a couple of storms are developing, including one nearby.

In this episode, we’ll look at a heatwave that will begin tomorrow. At times it will feel like the triple digits. Additionally, we’re tracking severe weather Thursday that could even bring a tornado. Relief will arrive though later on in the weekend.

The week ahead will see several days of increased levels of heat and humidity. We could have our first heatwave. We’ll also take a look at a tropical storm in the Atlantic.

We had some very impressive rainfall totals across Suffolk this weekend, which we’ll discuss in greater detail. As for the week ahead, the pattern is going to be largely unchanged. It will be warm and humid, and troughs will bring a couple of rain chances, which we’ll time out.
