CAN WE REALLY CALL ANY MAINSTREAM FIGHTING GAME SCRUBBY?

In a discussion of whether or not SF6 is a scrubby game on social media, James responded that he believes just about every fighting game could be called scrubby. So he got to thinking: what IS a scrubby fighting game, anyhow? Is there actually even such a thing as a scrubby fighting game? James gives his thoughts.

DOES THE BAD OUTWEIGH THE GOOD? OR ARE WE NOT EVEN THAT BAD?

The topic of the FGC's "toxicity" has reared its ugly head once again, and as a person who tried very hard to make the FGC as welcoming as possible, this common complaint is very saddening for James. He discusses whether he thinks the scene is truly toxic and if there's anything we can do about it as a community.
