Welcome back in to the Thunderdome Film Club amigos! It's been a while and am thinking I'll be able to create more of these in podcast form than needing to schedule in livestreams for them (I will still be livestreaming film clubs depending on the film though!) This time we're looking at Michael Bay's latest slice of Bayhem in Ambulance starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Eiza Gonzalez. Which is your favourite Bay movie and what do you think of this one? I hope I've convinced you to see it if you haven't already :)
The second episode of an epic analytical series exploring the greatest films ever made! This time we look at the Film4 produced dark comedy/drama masterpiece that is In Bruges created by Martin McDonough (Seven Psychopaths, Three Billboards) and friends!
The first of a series created in 2018 celebrating the greatest films ever made in my opinion :) in this first episode, it's time to look at a genuine classic masterpiece featuring beautiful performances by Jack Nicholson, Helen Hunt and Greg Kinnear and a wonderful script by James L Brooks and Mark Andrus!
Film composer/all round excellent musician Danny Elfman has crafted another fantastic piece with Big Mess, his second solo studio album. Here is my instant reaction of it; what do you guys think of the album? If you haven't listened to it yet, I hope this inspires you :)
Happy Halloween 2021 my spooky friends! This episode we'll be looking at filmmaker Ronny Yu (The 51st State, Fearless) and the two slasher gems that he was in the director's chair for; Bride of Chucky (1998) and Freddy Vs. Jason (2003). What do you guys think of the films and will they potentially be playing in your household this season? :)
Totally not heinous..... This episode is dedicated to the one and only SPIRITUALD3MON; a massive fan of Bill & Ted who needs convincing to watch this final part of the trilogy. It will not ruin her childhood.... Will it? What do you guys think of the movie?
Thank goodness for the streaming services this past year huh?! But please.. bring back cinemas soon! Heres a list of what I personally thought were the best releases of last year. I hope you guys enjoy and please comment below on your favourites of 2020!
Here's the link for my review of Pixar's SOUL as mentioned in this episode amigos; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufSq-TldOuY
It's another film retrospective amigos!! This time I wanted to talk about a film which I have reviewed before but the movie is that good it needs further viewings and more discussions! Bring on the sequel :) please let me know what you think of the film and how excited would you be for a sequel?
Hey dudearinos! I've seen James Gunn's The Suicide Squad in cinemas twice now and absolutely loved it both times; it has a profound amount of substance as well as ridiculous entertainment that I had to talk about! What do you guys think of the movie and what have you been watching recently?
Recorded in July 2020. Welcome to Episode 3 fellow Banesters! My guest this time is my old friend Harrison McCoy; at the time of recording it had been a few years since we spoke properly and was fantastic to have a good catch up! Hope you ladies and gents enjoy :)
