A motive is the underlying reason or driving force behind a person’s actions, thoughts, or decisions. While actions can appear good or beneficial, the true value of those actions is often measured by the motive behind them. Understanding motive helps us examine our hearts and ensure that what we do is guided by sincerity and the right intentions.
