Everything has been building to the most recent arc of Andor. The prior two seasons have been putting the pieces in place so the Empire could take total control of the planet of Ghorman. Finally, their plan comes to fruition and the citizens of Ghor riot against their Imperial oppressors. However, the Empire has been carefully crafting the propaganda surrounding Ghor, and they have bent the public perception of the galaxy against its citizens. Mon Mothma sees through the lies and delivers a fiery speech in the Senate the end of her political career as an Imperial Senator. In addition, Cassian Andor has made a choice to leave the Rebellion and commit himself to Bix. He has just one job left to complete first. That season of the documentary series relayed the history of ILM as they pioneered many of the special effects that audiences take for granted for movies that were released in the 1970s and 1980s. In the second season of Light & Magic, Joe Johnston takes over as the director. In this season, he picks up the story after the release of Jurassic Park to theaters and how the technology developed for that movie evolved and made Star Wars: The Phantom Menace possible.
