So the Secret Service Director is out but the FBI Director doesn't even know if Trump was even shot at and NOW the interwebs is scrubbing it and THAT is where Jeff kicks off the show! 

IT IS FRIDAY!... But not just any Friday but BLUE FRIDAY and with that we honor Sergeant Jim McLaughlin posthumously and Jeff also chats with his "brother from another mother" Stan Andrewski on this Blue Friday Edition of The Jeff Katz Show!  

On the final Friday of every month we honor a local law enforcement professional in our community and this month is a bit of a chance. Sergeant McLaughlin had been on our list for some time and with the unfortunate and sudden loss, it left us with a choice and you, our listeners said we should absolutely move ahead according to plan.

So with that we are so grateful to be a small part of posthumously honoring Hanover County Sheriff's Office Sergeant Jim McLaughlin, who is this month’s Lt Jan McTernan Blue Friday Honoree from The Jeff Katz Show on WRVA. We are grateful to Sergeant McLaughlin for his life long commitment and service to our community. Thank you to HCSO Deputies Evan Povar and Barry Bland for delivering Emily’s special Thin Blue Line Bracelets to Sergeant McLaughlin’s family. 

And Thank You Jim for being a light in the dark while honorably serving central Virginia. 

In the final hour of the show Jeff calls out the media for all their ridiculous ways and we have an edited version of our Blue Friday Honor interview.
