Weiner argues that the U.S. focuses too much on four-year college degrees and not enough on vocational training and certification. His desire to rethink skills training may be in part because LinkedIn now owns online education platform Lynda. He noted that, according to the World Economic Forum, new tech will displace more than five million jobs by 2020.
