Tonight we spotlight Jehovah Machsi...God Our Refuge! Proverbs 18:10 says, "The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe." We don't always have to try and fight our own battles. Sometimes the enemy comes at us with such force, that we need a place of safety to retreat to. God has already designed that place for His people...it's in HIM! In Him we can find joy; in Him, we can find peace; in Him, we can find love; and in Him, we can find safety and security. There is no safer place in this world than in Jehovah Machsi! Retreating to that strong tower doesn't always mean that we are afraid or insecure... sometimes it simply means that we are smart and we actually trust our God to be our Refuge! Enjoy!
